Ranchi: The protest by students and job aspirants in Jharkhand demanding a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into alleged irregularities in government recruitment examinations continued on Monday, with protesters burning effigies of Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.

The protest, which has now entered its 23rd day, has emerged as a significant issue in the State, with students alleging that the government has not taken adequate steps to address their concerns.
