At a national seminar organised by the National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) in New Delhi, Social Justice Minister Virendra Kumar paid homage to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on his death anniversary. He also recalled the contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, whose 150th birth anniversary celebrations concluded last month.

Earlier in the day, President Droupadi Murmu, Vice-President C.P. Radhakrishnan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with Union Ministers Kiren Rijiju, Arjun Ram Meghwal and Ramdas Athawale offered floral tributes at Ambedkar’s statue in the Parliament complex.

The event highlighted Ambedkar’s legacy as India’s first Law Minister and a key architect of the Constitution, reaffirming his lasting impact on the nation’s social and legal framework.
