Dense Fog Triggers Widespread Travel Disruptions Across India

Yugcharan News — Thick fog blanketed large parts of north India on Monday, severely disrupting air and rail travel, with Delhi airport facing the worst impact. As visibility dropped sharply, a significant number of flights were cancelled, delayed, or diverted, leaving thousands of passengers stranded for hours. Several other airports across the region also reported operational slowdowns due to poor weather conditions.

Rail services were similarly affected, with many long-distance trains running behind schedule as fog reduced visibility on tracks. Weather authorities have issued alerts warning that dense fog and cold conditions may persist over the coming days, advising travellers to stay updated with transport operators before planning their journeys.
