FC Goa clinched their third AIFF Super Cup title after a dramatic 6-5 victory over East Bengal in a penalty shootout at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Margao. The match remained goalless through 120 minutes, with both teams unable to break the deadlock in a tense and tightly contested final.

Substitute Sahil Tavora scored the decisive penalty in sudden death after East Bengal’s Mohammad Rashid and P.V. Vishnu missed their attempts. The win sparked celebrations among the home fans as FC Goa successfully defended their title.

With this victory, FC Goa also secured a spot in next season’s AFC Champions League 2, continuing their strong presence in Indian club football and adding another trophy to their growing collection.
