At least 10 flights were cancelled and more than 270 flights were delayed at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, as dense fog and low visibility conditions disrupted operations.

According to officials, six arriving flights and four departing flights were cancelled during the day. Data from flight tracking platform Flightradar24 showed that over 270 flights were delayed, with the average departure delay recorded at around 29 minutes.

The Delhi airport operator, Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), stated that visibility conditions were gradually improving, but warned that departures to certain destinations could continue to face delays.

The Indira Gandhi International Airport, which handles approximately 1,300 flight movements daily, was significantly affected by the weather conditions, leading to disruptions across both domestic and international flight schedules.
